Dr. Jolayemi Oladimeji has international status as a medical doctor. Despite his achievements in medicine, Oladimeji, now the quality assurance director at Community Dialysis Center located in Baltimore, Maryland, has pursued many interests that are outside the field of medicine. Dr. Oladimeji has been at Community Dialysis Center since September of 2005 and uses his past jobs and areas of study to further his success at this facility. Oladimeji was born in the African country Nigeria and studied at Ministry of Science School of Forestry, in Plateau State and earned an ordinary national diploma in forestry. Jolayemi later studied at microbiology The Polytechnic Ibadan, and received a national diploma in microbiology. While he was diligently working toward his diplomas, Dr. Yemi Oladimeji was working at the ministry of agriculture, where he learned to appreciate ecology and the area’s national resources. In the late 1980s, Dr. Yemi moved to the United States to work and continue his education. While in the U.S., he studied biochemistry at Pennsylvania’s La Salle University and landed a job at the United States Environmental Protection Agency. At the EPA, Yemi Oladimeji was employed through a contractor and conducted water analysis for medical purposes. Dr. Yemi furthered his education by attending the prestigious Stanford University from 1992-1994 and earning a degree in public health. Oladimeji earned his PhD in biomedical science from Pacific Western University in 2000. Jolayemi Oladimeji also studied at St. Luke School Of Medicine & Indiana State University College Of Medicine, Department of Micro Surgery. He is also a member of National Association of Managed Care Physicians. Jolayemi Oladimeji is also quite a businessman. Following his departure from the Environmental Protection Agency, Oladimeji created the first ever dialysis care facility in his present home state of Maryland. Back in his home country, Jolayemi Oladimeji started a nonprofit small business training organization called the Community Economic Development Group. In addition, Oladimeji runs Color Lab Nigeria, where 14 Nigerian locals are trained in making photocopies, typesetting, and producing large and small format color printing. Because of his efforts and accomplishments, Jolayemi Oladimeji ran for the executive governor position in Osun, a state in Nigeria.
